President’s Message Recently, my first grader received a project to write about a journey that she experienced with photos, maps, itinerary and souvenirs. The special assignment asked to include why did she go on this journey, how did she get there and what did she learn from it. It struck me how relevant this homework is today. The sluggish economy, job insecurity and the constant bad news we hear makes us look at the glass half empty. No matter what you do, where you work, or where your journey takes you, the choice is yours to make it better. Look beyond the negatives and look for opportunities that can change you! You are the only one who can make a difference in your own life and by doing so, the rewards will follow. Consider “paying it forward” by mentoring a paralegal student, or take the CP or ACP examination, or even better, join the Board of PANH to promote the paralegal profession and share your ideas. Whatever you decide, wherever your journey takes you, I believe that you will be pleased. Anikó Bouley, CP President of PANH |
